Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6–15, Malachi 3
Rev. Smith joins us today for a Communion service and brings a message about how our giving should be driven for a love and admiration of how God has first given to us, rather than a sort of "trade" for what we want. The proper understanding of giving will combat things like the so-called "Prosperity Gospel" that treats God more as a cosmic vending machine than the Lord of the Universe.
